Meet The Craftsman

Hi, I’m John. I carve and craft all the tiles that you see on this website.

I started making tiles in 2010 as a hobby and it quickly turned into a passion. I have always loved arts and crafts and learning new skills - but I was fascinated with the history of tile making.

It took a year to perfect the tile making process and I didn’t sell one until 2011. I believe I’m still learning about the process of tile making now.

I can often be found down my workshop perfecting my technique with my sidekick , Otto.
